BEAUTY WAY / CARE NOTES
Understandthecare.
A few clear explanations before your appointment. Based on the approach used by the Beauty Way team.
01 / LASER · NICE
Eachareahasitsownrhythm.
Hair grows in cycles. Several laser sessions are needed because not every hair is at the same stage on the day of your appointment.
A schedule for each area+
Underarms and legs may need different intervals. Your practitioner looks at regrowth and discusses when each area should be treated.
One area or a combination?+
Several areas can be treated together when their timing fits. A package does not mean every area has to be treated at every appointment.
Between appointments+
Shave rather than remove hair from the root. Ask the team about sun exposure, preparation and precautions for your skin.
Electrolysis treats follicles individually. The length of a course depends on the area, hair density, growth cycles and previous hair removal methods.
What happens during treatment?+
A fine, single-use sterile probe enters the follicle’s natural opening. Thermolysis uses high-frequency electrical energy. Your practitioner adjusts the treatment and discusses how it feels.
How long does it take?+
The team gives a broad reference of around 18–24 months, sometimes longer. It is an indication for discussion, not a promise for your case. Appointment lengths can change as treatment progresses.
What should I do afterwards?+
Follow your practitioner’s personalised aftercare instructions. Between appointments, cut rather than pluck hairs. Ask the team before treating an irritated area or changing your care routine.
Beauty Way uses sugar paste and hot wax without strips. The choice depends on the area, your skin, comfort and preferences.
Sugar paste+
Often used for legs, arms and back. The paste is made from sugar, water and lemon juice. Discuss sensitive skin and your preferences before the treatment.
Hot wax+
Often used for bikini, underarms and face. You can also discuss sugaring for these areas if you prefer it; the practitioner helps you choose.
Preparing for your visit+
Aim for about 4–5 mm of hair. Results commonly last several weeks, depending on regrowth. On Planity, sugaring is listed as “cire orientale”.
