Darker skin: why we recommend electrolysis
Our treatment protocol
Beauty Way does not treat dark or black skin with its current laser protocol. This is the salon’s protocol choice; it does not mean all laser hair removal is unsuitable for darker skin.
Melanin and settings
Laser targets hair melanin, which is also present in the skin. Device selection, settings and skin assessment matter when adapting treatment.
Electrolysis across skin tones
Electrolysis treats follicles individually and does not rely on hair melanin. It may be considered for different skin tones and hair colours after checking precautions and contraindications.
